Brayvet was established over sixty years ago, by John Wilson (who used to be the vet on the Gay Byrne Show), and in the early 90’s, Pete “the Vet” Wedderburn and Andrew Byrne took over the practice. In 2015, we carried out a major development, adding a purpose built “new practice” to our existing buildings, allowing us to have a separate “cats only ” section as well as a contemporary, bright, spacious waiting room, five large consulting rooms, and capacious treatment areas and operating theatres behind the scenes. Watch our google-maps virtual tour to find out more. We have a wonderful team of dedicated vets, registered veterinary nurses, receptionists and others to look after our patients.
We are a companion animal veterinary practice, focussed entirely on treating pets as the family members that they are. We are a strong part of the local community, become friends with animals and people, and getting to know generations of dogs, cats and humans over the years.
We are based in a state-of-the-art veterinary complex on Old Connaught Ave, Bray. This is on the north side of Bray, close to Shankill, within 10 minutes drive of Enniskerry, Kilternan, Kilmacanogue, Rathmichael, Loughlinstown and Sandyford, and just 20 minutes from Greystones. We are just off the M50, so we are only fifteen minutes away from Tallaght and the western approach to Dublin.
